On July 11, 2010 Craig was called to be the Bishop of our ward. We had known for 2 weeks about the call and during that time we were both amazed at the comfort we felt. I struggled with doubt of how we would handle everything, but the day before the announcement had a wonderful comforting experience. Truly an answer to prayers. We feel very blessed to be able to serve our great ward in this capacity. We love the members of our ward so much. It was said the day of his call that we were in for a "new adventure", which is so true. But we feel blessed and happy to take on the adventure.
He was so embarassed to have me take this picture, but come on we have to document these things! This was a week after he was called.
After church every week the kids go in and see Craig before we go home. It gives them a chance to say goodbye and talk to him a little bit.

Oh wow, that is so cool. I'm sure you'll do a great job, Craig. I'm also sure this all has to do with what a great companion you had in the MTC. My prayers are with you and your family. You will be very blessed through this calling.
